Verified Profiles

Every Daily Pick we send you is from a member who has passed photo verification. We compare a live selfie against profile photos using on-device biometrics — no human reviewer ever sees the comparison footage. Verified members get a ✓ badge.

Three things you can always do, no questions asked

• Close a Conversation Window early. One tap. They never see why. They can't message you again unless you both re-open it.
• Block and report. Removes them from your feed forever and starts a review of their account within 24 hours.
• Pause your Daily Pick. Take a break for a week, a month, or until you tap resume. Your account stays — your visibility doesn't.

Live Hello safety

Live Hello video calls happen inside Smart Dates — never on a third-party platform. They're encrypted end-to-end, never recorded, and you can blur your background or end the call instantly. Numbers and emails are never shared until you choose.

What we screen for

• Repeat reports for inappropriate messaging
• Profiles using stolen or modified photos
• Pattern detection for romance scams (sudden financial requests, off-platform pivots)
• Inconsistencies between verified identity and stated location
